Nathan Jones looked extremely displeased as Charlton fell to a crushing 4-0 defeat against Millwall.
Charlton were outfought in every area of the pitch by their local rivals, it showed by the fact that they managed three shots all game while Millwall managed 23.
The visitors were very quickly falling into a relegation scrap, having won just two of their last fifteen Championship matches.
Jones was very disappointed by what he had witnessed from his group of players.
"We got outworked and out-battled, so we got exactly what we deserved.
"They treated it as a derby, and we treated it as a day in the sun.
"It is just not how we work. We work hard, we press, we compete, and we have had success from doing that. We went away from that and got bullied all over today.
"Millwall were excellent, but we were nowhere near that level.
"It is a poor first goal [to concede}, we do not get to the cross, we allow them to play it into the box, and it is not a great header, but we do not deal with it.
"We settled nicely in the first half; there were no massive problems, it was not anywhere near our level, but we had chances, and we were moving the ball well.
"Second half, we got overrun and outworked on every single level.
"Tactically, we did not prepare to lose like that. We do not prepare to get bullied because we do not work like that, and that type of performance we have not had one of those.
"That is an unacceptable performance today; we have to rectify that this week.
"Millwall looked like a side of Championship players, we looked like a team of disjointed schoolboys."
